The Toronto District School Board (TDSB) is supporting the Canadian Red Cross in its relief efforts in Japan following the devastating earthquake and tsunami of March 11.
Collections will be set up at our schools for donations in cash or cheque. The need is great and so we ask students and staff, parents and area residents to do what they can. Schools and Board sites will be coordinating a Toonie Tuesday fundraising event for March 29 and observing one minute of silence on March 23. Community members who would like to contribute directly online can visit www.redcross.ca/tdsb.
